Hi Sean! Just a short note to say thanks on behalf of Margaret and Tarah and I for the support and service we received from Len's Cove during our incident on Monday evening. Brandon proved to be a careful and concerned employee, he safely manoevered his boat alongside and made sure that our boat's freeboard would not be damaged while we added fuel to the tanks. I was impressed by how much he knew about our boat and restoration project, even commenting on the wood. I mentioned today to Steve that it has been a long time since someone addressed me as 'Mr. Harrison', obviously he has a customer conscientiousness that is lacking in many businesses today. He has been well-trained as a boater and as an employee.
Thanks to you Sean, I know that family time is precious and hard to keep in the busy summer marina season. It was good to know that you were on the way with a more suitable towing vessel, deja vu, from a couple of years ago. Margaret was really impressed with how you got us into our slip, she said, "He just did something and knew that our cruiser would float along side the dock." I was impressed too, some day I want to hear how to do that.
We phoned the Galley to see if they would stay open for us for supper given the lateness of the evening. They said it was OK, and they waited for us. The service and care given to us made us very relaxed, we enjoyed the meal, and wine, and the fact that we were not rushed to finish.
Our most frequent contacts are usually with Steve and Bill and Brenda with the many major restorative jobs on our boat. They are very important experts as we see the project to a finish. We appreciate the effort made on our behalf for 'out-of-the-box' suggestions and solutions as we update a boat that was built before many of your employees were born. Frustrations yes, dissapointments no.
Every marina advertises its services, but Len's Cove Marina provides more than service. You have employees who are thoughtful and have ideas, and who have a sense of humour. To have young man, who missed being home for supper with his family tell us how much he appreciated all of the shiny new wood on our boat made our day, especially mine.
Many thanks, as well, to all the rest of your staff who we rely upon to keep us on the water, especially after a season on the hard.
Hi Joan, just wanted to say thanks for the service we receive at Len`s Cove each year. You all make both our familys Doud & Swinheart visit extra special each year and we all look forward to out next visit in August of 2010. Hats off to you and Doug and all your staff, we feel like family when we visit each year.
I want to thank you for taking the extra time on Saturday afternoon to figure out what was causing the fuel problem on my motor. I know it was beyond your normal workday but it sure saved me a major headache. It is really appreciated that you when out of your way to accommodate as you did. Thank you again.
Rosy and I wanted to thank you all for yet another wonderful and enjoyable Rinker Rendezvous. The planning and organization is always a very difficult and involved process and all of you pulled it off with your usual professional flare. All of you are great hosts and good friends. It was a pleasure to be part of it and we look forward to the next event. Many Thanks from us!
Good afternoon Steve, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and the Lens Cove Family and Staff a very Happy and above all Healthy Holiday Season. I look forward to a safe 2009 boating season associated with the Lens Cove community. Thank you for all your help and support with the required and recommended repairs for my Bayliner. I sincerely believe for my second season at the helm I will feel even more at ease knowing the boat is being maintained by the professionals I have spoken with thus far. Best regards,
Hi Sean. Thank you for the heads-up. I'm not too surprised to learn that the lock is corroded, it has not been opened in perhaps 3-4 years. I have no concerns about it being cut off. I appreciate the efforts you go to deliver excellent service. Thank you.
Regards,
