 Len’s Cove Marina played host to the second stop of the Roots AM wakeboard series this past weekend at Nangor Resort in the White Water Region outside of Ottawa, Ontario. Nangor is one of those to good to be true places where a white sand beach stretches for miles beside butter water, aka an ideal site for a wakeboard contest....

We're getting ready for our first event of the year! Our Pancake Brunch is Sunday April 11 starting at 10:30 am. There will be an abundance of pancakes, sausage, coffee - and of course, a great chance to get caught up on the past winter and make plans for 2010. We look forward to seeing you soon!

At this time of year we like to make sure everyone stays in touch, gets the information we need, and communicates about what is important to them. We also like to keep you in the loop regarding events, new boating stuff, and get your feedback on important issues. The Boater's Bash was a huge success on Saturday! We started with Marguarita Hour, then our traditional Potluck Dinner, then had a terrific night of live music featuring Ambush, Canada's Rockin' Country Band. Everyone brought their dancing shoes and it was a fun night with friends and family. Thanks to everyone who made it a super event!

We've uploaded some useful resources for Rinker, Starcraft, MasterCraft and Mercury Mercruiser owners! The Len's Cove Boater's Club has great information including owner's manuals, warranty, Sirius radio guide, vessel licence questions, and more! Our annual Hot Dog & Chili Haulout Lunch was a great success! Everyone joined the staff at Len's Cove Marina for yummy hot dogs, tasty chili, sweet pies and coffee on Sunday. The weather was terrific and it was a great chance to say goodbye to summer. We contributed 4 big bins of food to the Portland Food Bank! Thanks to everyone who brought a food item and to all the chefs and helpers - Sean, Bonnie, Paula, Lisa, Joan and Doug - for putting on another great event. We'll keep in touch with everyone over winter and see you all in the spring of 2009!

Our Annual Boater's Bash is fast approaching! Old-fashioned potluck, 50/50 draw, and door prizes - and a starlight cruise on Big Rideau Lake, weather permitting. The festivities start at 5 p.m. - click here for more details!
